Spring has Sprung! Even bears who have been hibernating are making their way out into the wild. It’s been a long time since we have been cooped up inside.  As soon as the weather comes to the party, we can all head out and celebrate. Here are a couple of things that we think you might be interested in.


Rand Club Jazz Club Band featuring Tamara Dey Friday Sep 11 18:00  

 We have all been missing live music.  If you would like to quench your thirst for Jazz music head on over to the Rand Jazz Club. “Headlining is the always captivating Tamara Dey accompanied by the Rand Club Jazz Club Band with a limit on guests of 40 people making for an extra special occasion,” the organisers say.  Tickets cost R250 (members R250) and for an extra R200 you can also enjoy a three-course dinner with the concert. Paint & Sip with Artist Nene Mahlangu 12th and 13th September 18.00- 21:00

The fact that we are not all trapped in hour homes on Level 5 lockdown doesn’t mean your self-improvement goals have to fall by the wayside. If you have ever wanted to bring out the inner artist in you, this is the event for you. “Paint & Sip at Daze House is an intimate gathering that explores your creativity through guided painting session,” the organisers say.
It’s a family friendly event for artists of all levels. You will get all the painting materials you need including a complementary glass of wine, champagne, or cocktail with more for sale.

 This is the perfect event for those looking for something to do during the day. The event is inspired to provide financial relief to LGBTQIA business and traders in partnership with @voguenightsjozi and @thetennisclubjhb.


Johannesburg Hidden History Walking Adventure 19 September 10:00 to 15:00

Dust off your walking shoes and explore Jozi with this socially distanced working tour of the city.  You can learn about the exquisite architecture and the history of the place. This tour will give you an insight into some of the gems of this city. Have you ever wanted to know who Commissioner Street is named after? Or Why is Braamfontein the unluckiest of all the "fonteins" in the area? The adventure will cost you R180 including food and drink.
