Create your own clothing and hear from leading designers at this new showcase.

The first ever PUMA Select Studios’ Fashion Jam Session will be happening at Dassler’s in Braamfontein on Saturday 26 October 2019 from 9am – 5pm and you’re invited to join PUMA for a day of collaboration, design, cutting, making, trimming and producing some one-of-a-kind garments.
PUMA is challenging you to finish a garment or outfit in a day, with a pair of PUMA kicks as the inspiration. Bring along your own sewing toolkit and anything you may need to create a garment of your own and PUMA will help you along by supplying limited base fabric, sewing machine access, basic tools and, of course, a few surprises.
To inspire your Saturday, PUMA has enlisted the exceptionally talented Anisa Mpungwe to share her powerful story and help sew a game plan together. You’ll want to take some advice from someone who’s styled and dressed Solange and Michelle Obama! Born in Tanzania and raised in South Africa, the fashion designer and founder of LoinCloth & Ashes has seen her brand on different fashion week ramps in South Africa, Mozambique, Angola, Italy, Sweden and New York. Her many accolades include the Emerging Designer of the Year Africa in 2013, awarded by Africa Fashion International.
