Opening this February at The Standard Bank Gallery is A Black Aesthetic: A View of South African Artists (1970 -1990).
Taking place from 22 February to 18 April 2019 and curated by Dr Same Mdluli, the show draws largely from the University of Fort Hare art collection. It features the work of greats like Dumile Feni, George Pemba, Gerard Sekoto and many other significant Black South African artists.
