48 Hour Film Project

                             Posted: Jul 24 2011

Amateur and professional directors alike are gearing up to shoot a film in only 48 hours.  The 48 Hour Film Project (48HFP) has reached a record, with 2500 filmmaking teams taking part from all over the world.  The aim is to complete a four to seven minute film, from writing and shooting to editing, within two days.

The fun begins at 7pm on Friday 2 September and a finished film is expected by 7pm on Sunday 4 September.  Aspirant filmmakers of any skill level can participate and each team is assigned a genre, character, prop and line of dialogue that must be worked into the film.  Space is limited so first come, first served and discounts on registration fees apply before 8 August.  Go to www.48hourfilm.com for more information and workshop details.
