Love Books

It might be small but this book store is packed with variety!

I have been addicted to books since my grandmother taught me how to read when I was three years old. So of course when I discovered a shop named Love Books, I knew it would be a favourite.

This small, independent bookshop was started by Jaci Jenkins and Kate Rogan, who produced the book show for Jenny Crwys-Williams at Talk Radio 702 for many years. It's a true haven for bibliophiles. The cosy shop contains many seating areas where you can curl up with a purchase and while away an afternoon, complete with coffee from the adjacent Service Station. And you would be very hard pressed not to make a purchase with every visit.

Love Books stocks a surprisingly wide range of books for its small size, from every imaginable genre. There is also a lovely children's corner, with plenty to choose from and cushions for the little ones to curl up on while they read their books too. What a great way to instill a love of reading from an early age. The shop hosts storytelling sessions for the small fry every Saturday morning at 10am, so if you have little people in your life, be sure to take them along.
