A Cheesy Fairytale

Once upon a time, in a gentle land called Linden, there was a golden- yellow place filled with smiles and deliciousness. Every maiden and fella that entered it, left with a large bag of happiness and vowed to return time and time again for their supply of amazing goodies. And they did. And they told all their friends about this magical place too. And because of it, they all lived happily ever after. The End.

Luckily for you and me, this wonderland is still very much open for business and thriving like never before. Linden's gem is doubtlessly the Gourmet Cheese Market, comfortably situated on the corner of 3rd Avenue and 7th Street Linden, just opposite the primary school. It's become something of a landmark in the area as slowly and surely everybody finds out about it. I've provided numerous people with directions around Linden by including the phrase, "turn left at the Cheese Shop" as part of my explanation. It truly is a successful and well known venue in the neighbourhood. This is for good reason too. On the other side its doors lies edible treasure that you just have to sample for yourself.

The Gourmet Cheese shop stocks every type of cheese you've ever heard of, and many that you haven't. Muenster, Limburger, Brie, Gorgonzola, Provolone, Blue and many other's are on display and for sale in any size slice you desire.  And if you don't speak Cheese, the friendly ladies behind the counter are more than happy to describe each cheese to you and offer you a generous taste.

The cheeses are delectable, but that's not all that is on offer in this taste-sensation Kingdom. All those little things that compliment cheese can be found in different sections of the shop too. There are olives of all sorts, preserves and chutneys, jams and breads as well as Sauces and cutting utensils. They just go so well together.

The shop also provides cheese-lovers with a Cheese Caf on the same premises. This is a little coffee shop which serves a delightful menu. Most of the items on it include at least one cheese, all of which can be purchased from the cheese deli itself. And, yes Cheesecake is one of the specialties, of course.

So if you're looking for a cheesy fairy tale, you've just been given directions to it at the Gourmet Cheese Market in the land of Linden.
