Top Gear's in Town
03/02/10
Explosive tricks and a wild atmosphere are - again - expected at this year's motoring show, as furiously loud rally cars, originally designed motorcars and cars that change colour as they move are on the menu.
The 90-minute shows are expected to be a mind-blowing combination of car chases, outrageous stunts and incredibly skilled driving. There will also be a world-class display of homemade re-designed cars, put together using old car scraps.
Plus, the audience can get close to the finest selection of the most stylish, rare and expensive cars, all of which will be on exhibition.
Last year's show was a sell out, with 46 000 people going through the doors. This year, 66 000 tickets are being sold in Joburg.
Top tier tickets cost R450 each, which includes a premium cushioned seat and a beer or a glass of wine. Premium tickets cost R350, standard tickets are R250 and children under 12 pay R150. Tickets are available from Computicket on 083 915-8000.
