Ferreirasdorp, the first mining camp set up on the western edge of the CBD, reflects a mix of peoples and architecture - from the Transvaal Chinese United Club Mansions to the beautiful Church of St Alban's, the cathedral built for coloured Anglicans. The nearby Magistrates' Court and 44 Main Street with its art deco features make it an interesting side of town.
 
Go walking with the Parktown & Westcliff Heritage Trust on Saturday, 23 January, and take in this eclectic mix.
