In South Africa, we've gotten used to the idea that we get one, maybe two great international acts each year. 2010 however, will offer music fans a virtual buffet of international talent.

Take, for instance, Kelly Clarkson at the Coca Cola Dome from 4 - 7 March. As the first American idol winner, Clarkson has gone far in the music industry, and is well respected for her sweet voice and great performances.

Almost simultaneously, Cliff Richards and the Shadows graces South African stages for what is apparently going to be their last reunion tour. This will occur from 6 - 14 March, also at the Dome.

For the slightly more acquired music tastes, Tom Zones will burn down the house from 7 - 10 April, just in time for the Easter season (and let's not forget that most of these public holidays will fall on Fridays and Mondays - Can anyone say multiple long weekends?)

Then, from 28 May to 1 June, the Masters of rock will set the rock scene with acts like Deep Purple, Uriah Heap and Wishbone Ash.
Let's also not forget the Coke Feast, which will happen in April as well. While the bands have yet to be announced, this rock festival never disappoints.
Let's rock 2010.
