The AUDI Joburg Fashion Week Autumn/Winter 2010

The Audi Joburg Fashion Week took place this past weekend and just bylooking at the designs that were showcased, anyone can see that theevent was a definite success. Among the designers whose collections were featured were Cadduci, Karen Miller, Machere and Stacy Alexander. With the show being the Autumn/Winter collection, a noticeable use of earth tones was incorporated into the designs- browns, blues, greens and their variations. The main aim of the fashion week, organizers had said, was to improve the quality of fashion being produced in Africa. The likes of Stoned Cherry have previously been included in New York Fashion Week line-up, proving that our designers are definitely reaching international standards.
