Over the years, the annual Basha Uhuru Festival, fired up by Nando's, has become well-known for its ability to bring a host of great musicians together for a day of incredible live music. This year is no different.
Kicking off this Saturday 30 June, the music festival will see local musicians, young and old, seasoned and emerging, take to the stage. Bands and musical outfits are Black Motion, BCUC, Blk Jks, Urban Village, Sun Xa, Radio 123, and the iconic Skwatta Kamp.
Solo acts include Sho Madjozi, Jonny Joburg, Samthing Soweto, K.O, Moonchild Sanelly, Prokid, Zoe Modiga, Muzi, Joshua The I AM and Big Zulu.
On the decks you can expect iamPH, Speedsta, Akio, Sistamatic, Phatstoki, Rosie Parade, Deniece Marz, Coppashot & Bobotical, DJ Zero and Lubonk.
To see this many talented musicians in a single venue is a rare thing, and it’s not something we plan on missing out on!
